When I paint I am documenting the colors, textures and light I see in my oil paintings. I gravitate toward vineyards, mountains and seascapes. I call my painting technique “Defined Impressionism”, as I begin with an Impressionist style, followed by a strong definition of some of the brush strokes. This process creates a stained glass effect that enhances the colors and light.
