Scholarship Awards Day: Monday, June 22, 2026 at 1:00 PM
The AANV Board of Directors and membership are proud to award $7,000 in seven $1,000 scholarships for this school year 2025-26, to public high school seniors and community college art students.
Criteria for AANV 2026 scholarship
The recipient for the Art Association Napa Valley, one scholarship per school;
1) Have been a student in the art’s department, recommended by the Art Department Chairperson and will be continuing in the field of art at an accredited higher educational institution.
2) The high school/community college selection committee will choose the recipient from the input, from the Art Department Chairperson.
3) The awarded funds will be used towards tuition, fees and or books.
4) The 2025-26 AANV Scholarship check for $1,000, will be awarded on June 22, 2026, at the Art Association Napa Valley June General Meeting. 1520 Behrens Street, Napa, CA 94559

The Art Association Napa Valley has been continuously operating an active organization of local artists for the past 77 years, with a current membership of over 190 artists.
AANV is a private, nonprofit arts organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for the Napa Valley by supporting arts and culture throughout the county. We provide funding, advocacy, marketing and exhibition opportunities for local artists. A portion of the member dues, Open Studios and a percentage of art sold at our Art Gallery on First, contributes annually to the AANV Scholarship Fund, which benefits our local public high schools and college students who wish to pursue artistic careers.
In 2025 we awarded $7,000 to six high school and one college student.
The AANV holds their General Membership Meetings at the Art Association facility 1520 Behrens Street, Napa, CA 94559, on the Fourth Monday. These meetings include professional artist’s presentations, demonstrations and exhibitions of member works and Guests are welcome.

Art Gallery Napa Valley, located at 1307 First Street and is a juried co-operative gallery. The Art Gallery presently shows work from 50+ artists. It is open daily 10-6, seven days a week. Across from the Archer hotel and just down the street from the Andaz Hotel. Gallery Manager is Sheryl Marshall.
AANV also sponsors the Napa Valley Open Studios Program. This annual program is held the last two weekends of September where participating/juried artists open their studios and work areas for general public tours and sales of their work. OS Chairs are Peggy Francis and Dennis Smith.
The AANV Mission Statement: Fostering and encouraging creative art, its understanding and appreciation, the Napa Valley Art Association provides the arts community with education and exhibition opportunities.
