This retired middle school teacher of 35 years, returned to her core passion of art in 2018. After a joyful career of teaching pre-teens/teens all things language arts, returning to the world of art was like coming home. It had been in the late 1970’s at Napa Valley College, where I took many art classes, that I thought art (in some form) would be my career of choice. As things and life go, my focus shifted to teaching. Now I have traded lesson plans and correcting papers for surrounding myself with color and putting creations out into the world. Combining the natural beauty of stones with patterns, designs and color provides a delightful, unique expression of creativity. Putting beauty out into the world drives and inspires me each day!
