I am a very prolific artist. I carry sketchbooks everywhere with me. I write a lot as well. I have done so since I became a teen. My notebooks, however, are private.They only serve the purpose to hold my warm-up exercises and keep witness to my life. Drawing every day just allows me to keep skills and inspiration sharp, attuned with the present moment and my feelings. Then I bring the experience to my studio. I fight with the canvas or any media I decide to use in my studio, until I like my piece enough to actually want to buy it. So I sign it.
