ARTIST STATEMENT
For me, the process of creating is as fundamental and as vital as breathing. While the act of creating takes many forms, painting and sculpting are my primary passions.
I approach my work from the perspective of playfulness, whimsy, and experimentation with materials. By using my hands, instead of most of the traditional tools and brushes, I feel I am able to connect to, and reflect, my most authentic self in my artwork. I am grateful for having discovered my true passion, and its various forms and forums, and for the opportunity to express and share the purest essence of myself. I hope others will enjoy my artwork as much as I enjoy creating it.
