One of Napa’s most active artists, Sherrell Harper, is highly versatile working in diverse media. Her art forms in both realism and abstract have created a local buzz. Known primarily for her vibrant colors with exceptional highlights and textures, she produces still life subjects featuring the best of Napa ‘s wine and hospitality.
Since arriving in Napa Valley , Ms. Harper has become a strong participant in the local arts community. After accepting presidency of the Napa Valley Art Association, Ms. Harper spearheaded the establishment of a co-operative Artists Gallery in the St. Helena Premiere Outlets which has now relocated to downtown Napa. As immediate past president of Napa Valley Art Association, she still retains a position on the Board of Directors, participates in Open Studios and is an active member of the Arts Council of Napa Valley.
She has been selected three times as Artist of the Month by the Napa Valley Art Association and has been the featured Gallery Artist of the Month. Her work can be seen in local businesses, at Community Events, and many art exhibitions.
