Kent Parker is a Napa based craftsman who creates timeless, one-of-a-kind fine woodworking pieces. His work has become synonymous with exceptional craftsmanship. His works are original, hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind art pieces inspired by an enduring fascination with nature.
He began an early apprenticeship over 50 years ago as a wooden boat builder. After leaving the boat yard he started his own woodworking business repairing vessels, building custom yacht interiors and accepting commissions for one of a kind furniture pieces.
When creativity goes beyond the mere mechanics of a craft it becomes an extension of the artists thoughts and imagination and allows the observer a small glimpse at a world of passion that many may not have the opportunity to experience. It is my hope that my work will engage and inspire that passion.
