John Lennart Roos stands out as a multi-talented creator who continues to make his work come to life through the stories and humor that are injected into his paintings and drawings.
John went back home to start his art career by attending the Chicago Academy of Fine Art. Focusing on Illustration/design.
Moving to Calif. designing came to the forefront which presented the opportunity to work with major retail companies like Graumans Chinese Theater, Johnny Rockets, JC Penney Co, 2 Splash Mountain aquatic venues and many more.
Now focusing on painting the Illustration side of his brain continually creeps into all of his compositions. Working off of his own photos and other references he hopes to put together scenes that draw the viewer in.
His paintings and illustrations hang in private and commercial collections here in the US, England and New Zealand.
John has shown his work through one man shows and art competitions including Napa Valley’s prestigious ‘Mustard Festival’ winning best of show.
