I’ve been painting for about 15 years. I started with Pastels, then Acrylics, before moving onto Oils. All of my teachers are from here in the valley.
I’ve participated in the Art Event at the Napa Fair twice, winning several ribbons including Best in Show in the amateur category. Also, I was in the Napa County Fair in Calistoga winning ribbons. The Yountville Art, Sip and Stroll was interesting and fun. I’ve been in art shows at Napa Valley Country Club as well as the Silverado Country Club.My studio is in my home. This year I started doing popups as well. I was part of Open Studies – Napa in 2023 as well as being Artist in Residence at Acumen Wine Gallery, Napa. In 2024, Iparticipated in The Napa Art Walk andan art exhibit for the TAYO Legacy Foundation in Los Angeles. A painting of mine was selected as the AANV Artwork of the Month and itin the Napa Library during April. My work is currently exhibited at Eye Specialists of Napa Valley until August. Upcoming events are Art on the River, Open Studios 2024 and theSilverado Art Show in November.
In addition to painting, I love photography and have shown my work at most of the above venues. I particularly like to edit my photos on the computer and create different versions. I’ve been attached to a camera since I was a child, my favorite adventure being on safari in Africa and recently Croatia.
I love both past times, and the chance to express myself.
