Frank Trozzo was born in Washington D.C. He received his first oil painting set when he was nine and has been painting and drawing ever since.
He received a B.A. in Art and Education from Virginia Wesleyan College, and did further studies in metal work, sculpture and jewelry at the University of Maryland, California College of Arts and Crafts and the Fachhochschule fur Gestaltung in Schwabish Gmund Germany. He moved to California in 1976. In 1982 he opened Jewelry stores in San Francisco and made custom designs in gold and platinum for his clientele. In 1992 he transitioned into the high tech world producing multimedia CD-ROMs and websites for fortune 500 companies. Always looking for the next challenge, he started remodeling houses in 1998 and eventually acquired his Real Estate Broker’s license. In 2014 He started painting again full time. He won the Artist of the Year Award from the association in 2018.
