The Napa Valley is a destination that delights many of our senses. My work is an ode to the exquisitely handcrafted wines and artistry of our local winemaker’s who turn the fruit of our vineyards into bottled poetry as well as the natural beauty of this valley I call home.My works is also a nod to the music that fills the valley during events like Bottlerock, The Napa Valley Jazz Getaway, Music in the Vineyards and more through my musically inspired instrument portraits…In addition you’ll find images of Napa’s natural beauty and wildlife such as Grape Vines, Hummingbirds, the Napa Riverfront and more. You’ll see I also am intrigued with reflections, patterns and color. The pattern of fermentations tanks glycol coverings is played with repeatedly throughout my work…I use a variety of techniques to capture and create my images, sometimes through unusual angels, close-ups, night photography, light painting, photoshop play and experimentation. You can also find more of my photography at Art Gallery Napa Valley located at 1307 First Street, in downtown Napa.I even print images onto guitar picks and turn them into earrings!Just in case you don’t have space left on your wall…
