Janis makes kiln-formed glass and fiber art in Napa Valley. Most of her glass pieces are utilitarian, meant to be used in every day life, like sushi sets, soap dishes, platters, plates and bowls. She also makes decorative items like pendants and earrings, masks, Buddha heads, sugar skulls and holiday ornaments. Her silk scarves are hand-dyed and individually embellished.
Janis currently serves as President of the Art Association Napa Valley.
